Armagh Creamery to host Farm Day Saturday

Armagh Creamery will be hosting its second annual Farm Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 27. There will be food trucks, creamery tours, hay rides and fun activities.

Tours are sold out but general admission is available. The creamery is located at 867 FM 2156 in Dublin.

Memorial Day ceremony set

There will be a Memorial Day Rememberance Ceremony at 8 a.m. Monday, May 29 at the Veterans Memorial Wall besides the Dublin Public Library.

Everyone is welcome to attend the free event and pay their respects to the fallen.

Carlton Cemetery Assoc. to meet June 3

The Carlton Cemetery Association will have their annual meeting at the tabernacle in the cemetery on Saturday, June 3.

We encourage anyone who has loved ones buried there to come.

We will have coffee and doughnuts at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting at 9 a.m. on June 3. Please bring lawn chairs.

DeLeon Area Historical Museum presents art show

That’s Art! continues through May 27. Art created by people in this area or in the possession of people in this area will be on display at the DeLeon Area Historical Museum at 173 North Texas Street.

There will be oil paintings, water color pictures, photography, wood work, needle work, and many other types of art. The Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is free.

Carnival set at Walmart to aid CMN

There will be a carnival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 10 to help raise funds for the Children’s Medical Network.

There will be food, drinks, games and fun.

20 tickets are available for $10 and all money collected goes to CMN.

Chili Cook-off set for June 10

There will be a chili cook-off at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10 in Celebration Park. Entry is $25 and benefits Transformation Pathways CWJC.
