April 24

A big dog and a smaller dog tried to attack someone walking in the 600 block of North Camden. An officer searched the area and was unable to locate the animals. Referred the call to animal control.

Dublin PD assisted ECSO on a vehicle stop to conduct a welfare check after threats were allegedly made to crash the car. The car was stopped and everything was OK.

April 25

A reporting person advised there was a man with a gun headed into Dublin after the gun was pointed at his daughter while she was driving on Hwy. 377. Officer searching the area for a vehicle matching the description and was unable to locate.

April 26

A German Shepherd was running around by the train tracks. Animal control was notified.

Two males wanted to speak to an officer about a motorcycle someone was working on that they will not give back. The party advised the shed caught on fire with the motorcycle inside. Officer advised this was a civil property issue.

April 27

A reporting person advised he saw a guy on his camera in front of his house for about three minutes. Officer made contact and the guy was with a roofing company, giving free roofing inspections.

A black pickup was towing another vehicle and holding up traffic on Hwy. 377 South. An officer located the vehicle pulling into a shop to drop off.

April 28

A dark grey semi-truck with a flat bed pulled up to her house and stated he was supposed to pick something up from her residence, but she doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The reporting person called back before the officer arrived and said the truck had left.

A reporting person came to the station to report that his motorcycles were stolen from a brother and they were in Dublin somewhere.

A caller reported an attempted break in to her house in the 600 block of Ireland. Requested a close patrol for awhile.

A reporting person advised there was a woman next door screaming. Officers got to the resident and parties had left before they got there.

A reporting person tried to pick up property for a friend of the family and a verbal argument took place. Officer arrived on scene, everything was OK but he stood by for a few minutes just to make sure.

A caller requested to speak to an officer in reference to a child assaulting her child at school. The officer advised the parents to speak with the school principal and vice principal.

A third party caller advised her daughter was shot at and left for her safety in the 600 block of South Norton. A male shot at her truck, nobody was injured. An officer went to speak to the victim in Stephenville and the subject. Subject advised there was an argument but he did not shoot at her, he shot at a dog that was in his trash. A follow up investigation occurred the next day. April 29 A reporting person advised there was an intoxicated female in the 800 block of West Elm that is causing a verbal argument. An officer spoke with all parties and they agreed to separate from each other.

A building check was done in the 600 block of South Patrick street.

April 30

A reporting person advised she owns a house in Dublin and she went to check on the property in the 300 block of North Camden and it looks like someone has been in there. A close patrol was requested.
