Hanson Cemetery Association meeting The Hanson Cemetery Association’s annual meeting and cemeteryworking will be at 11 a.m., May 6 at Hanson Cemetery.
Hanson Cemetery Road is the southernmost road that turns off of CR 438, in Comanche County.
It will be a business meeting only—no lunch this year. Bring lawn chairs.

Comanche Museum offering bountiful Mother’s Day lunch The Comanche County Museum welcomes all to honor mothers and enjoy Sunday lunch on Sunday, May 14 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. They will serve salmon patty croquets, meatloaf, ham, brisket with barbecue sauce, noodle bake, red beans, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rolls, cornbread salad, pea salad, carrot salad, spaghetti salad, cabbage slaw, pistachio salad, ambrosia, pink fluff, cherry and peach delight, banana pudding, Texas sheet cake, cake with strawberries and whipped cream, lemon pie, chocolate pie, tea and water.
There will be a silent auction for pies.
