A Stephenville high school freshman was killed Sunday, March 26 in an ATV accident on Farm-to-Market 205.
According to information released by the Erath County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement responded to the 5000 block of FM 205 shortly after 1 p.m. for a report of a 4-wheeler accident.
Upon their arrival, a 15-year-old juvenile who was injured in the crash was receiving medical attention and was ultimately transported to the hospital where he later died.
ECSO is investigating the crash and more information will be released as it develops. Stephenville Superintendent Dr. Eric Cederstrom has stated that on Monday morning counselors visited with each of the student’s classes at the beginning of each class and counseling services would be available for students, faculty and families as needed.
