Garden club learns rodeo history

Body

The Dublin Garden Club held its regular February meeting Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Perry Hall.

Their guest speaker was Carolyn Harbin with the Dublin Rodeo Museum. Carolyn is very knowledgeable about Dublin’s rodeo history.

She informed us of many wonderful items at the museum and the rodeo story, from the beginning, in Dublin. Carolyn is active in preserving our wonderful history in Dublin. As with all our museums, the Rodeo Museum admission is free. They are open afternoons and you can have a guided tour by a knowledgeable volunteer.

Next months speaker will be Pam Bills, owner of Dublin Florist.

We always have educational meetings. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m. We would love for you to join us.

Please contact President Mary Howard at 977-3686 for additional information.
