Jan. 3
There was a welfare request regarding a child who had been sent to Cook’s Childrens hospital. Child had RSV, was prescribed medicine and was OK.
Two large dogs were running at large at Trowbridge/S. Park. An officer tried to make contact with the owner but they were not home at the time. Animal control was made aware and did a follow up.
A reporting person came in the station to speak to an officer about a criminal trespass.
Jan. 4
A reporting person came into the station to speak to an officer about someone harassing her.
CPS requested a standby at a residence.
There was a report of an 18-wheeler pulling a flatbed trailer loaded with pipe on Hwy. 5 West that almost ran a driver off the road.
Jan. 5
A caller advised he saw two male individuals on Patrick Street stealing catalytic converters. He later advised he did not see them do it but recognized the individuals from a facebook post. Officers searched the area and did not locate any suspicious people.
Jan. 6
A fraud investigation was done.
A person was moving out and wanted to get their things but is not suppose to be at the residence. Officers came to the scene, spoke with both parties and she moved out.
Jan. 7
A reporting person requested information on criminally trespassing a family member. They were referred to the Justice of the Peace for more information.
A reporting person stated that she is being harassed by an ex-boyfriend. Officer made contact and he agreed to leave her and her friends alone.
Jan. 8
A reporting person requested a criminal trespass.
A property check was made in the 200 block of Johnson Street.
