Arran James Spoede, 47, was indicted on Dec. 14 by an Erath County Grand Jury on possession or promotion of child pornography and aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The child pornography charge is a third degree felony and the aggravated sexual assault of a child charge is a first degree felony.
According to information released by the Erath County Sheriff’s Office when Spoede was arrested in September, investigators were notified of an outcry of sexual abuse from a 20 year-old female who had been sexually abused since the age of 12.
According to ECSO, numerous pieces of evidence were located and sent to federal labs for analysis.
At the time of arrest, ECSO reported that more charges are anticipated at both the State and federal level.
Other indictments from Dec. 14 include: Cody Brandon Berryhill, 34, possession of a substance in penalty group 1 less than 1 gram (State Jail felony); William David Bronson, 35, on two counts of DWI with child passengers (State Jail felonies); Amanda Jean Davis, 36, on theft-less than $2,500 with two prior convictions (State Jail felony); Diego Pontenciano Dutra, 34, aggravated sexual assault of a child (First Degree felony); Dusty Wayne Evans, 66, possession of a substance in penalty group 1 – four grams or more but less than 200 grams – enhanced (Second Degree felony); Tristan Mykle Jury, 26, possession of a substance in penalty group 1 less than 1 gram (State Jail felony); Mickle Duane Lowery, 45, failure to comply with registration requirements (Third Degree felony) and evading arrest or detention with a previous conviction (State Jail felony); Michael John Odea, 62, possession of a substance in penalty group 1 less than one gram (State Jail felony; Randy Jay Tatsch, 65, failure to comply with registration requirements (Third Degree felony) and Manuel Ignacio Vargas, Jr., 38, for evading arrest or detention with previous conviction (State Jail felony).
