W.G. Forson of the Forson Oil Company reports that the water well has been completed on the Greens Creek oil well location this week. Spudding in will be as soon as the rig can be moved in.

This new location is on the Lowell farm about 1-2 miles northeast of the old Kiker gin.

The contract for this well calls for going down to the Ellenburger lime unless something is found at a lesser depth. A rig is being ordered that will go to a depth of 6000 feet.

The Dublin High School halls really look like a Christmas dream land with the thanks going to the Dublin Student council members and sponsor James Fritts.

The Student Council has been making money by sponsoring the concession stand at all Basketball games. The members decided to spend the money on something useful for the school. The Student Council has put back around $1,500 to help rebuild the tennis courts. Not they are spending the money on things to share with the other kids in High School, the faculty, and it is open to the public.

The Student Council membersundertheleadership of D’Lena Evans, President and James Fritts, Sponsor have done an outstanding job in decorating the school and setting the mood and spirit for everyone. The Student Council wants the faculty, the students and the public to know that they are the reasons the school was decorated.
