Erath community members gathered in Stephenville’s Paradigm building for a special Veterans Day program hosted by Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 & Auxiliary Unit 240. Matt Hallgarth (below) led as master of ceremonies while U.S. Army Col. Doug Simon, Commandant of Tarleton’s Corps of Cadets served as guest speaker. Simon and Martha Fredrickson, President of the auxiliary, posted the wreath (right, below). Sid Moon played Taps (right, above) while Tim Tatom delivered the invocation. Following the ceremony, students at White Horse Christian Academy treated the honored guests with a special meal.
