AgriLife Extension district reporters compiled the following summaries: Extreme drought conditions continued across the district. Soil moisture levels were very short.

Rangeland and pasture conditions were very poor in nearly all areas. Stock tanks were dry, and hay was in short supply. Livestock were being liquidated. Armyworms and desert termite reports were increasing, and aphids were in pecan trees. Crops were in poor condition.

Grains that were planted and emerged had dried up.
