Dublin Police officers have been busy over the past week with several calls that resulted in arrests.
On Sept. 28, at approximately 9:01 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Golden Chick in Dublin in reference to a subject making death threats. Officers arrived on scene and observed the subject in a vehicle with other occupants visibly upset. Officers attempted to make contact with the subject, and in doing so, he shoved an officer and resisted being detained. The officer deployed a taser to bring the subject into compliance.
The subject was identified as Michael Sneed and was eventually placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
On Monday, Oct. 3, officers were conducting surveillance on a residence where a wanted person was known to reside when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle.
In the course of the stop, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle was Justin Hardee. Hardee had active arrest warrants for parole violations.
During the course of the stop, Hardee drove off and a pursuit began. He was able to elude officers.
“Officers have obtained information that Mr. Hardee is no longer in the area,” Police Chief Cameron Ray said.
Additional charges will be filed, Ray said.
At 2:17 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9 officers were dispatched to a vehicle crash at Dollar General in Dublin. Upon arrival it was learned that the vehicle struck the right side of the building and left. With the help of witnesses, officers located the vehicle and operator at a residence nearby.
Alejandro Medina was arrested for Duty Upon Striking Fixed Object.
