Bump in the Night Oddities Market, Halloween Book sale Saturday A spooky night is on tap Saturday evening with the Bump in the Night Fae-Root and Fossil Oddity Market. The market will be hosted in the downtown plaza in Stephenville from 6-10 p.m.

There will be a variety of vendors including oddities, curiosities, art, sweet treats, a DJ and much more.

There will be a costume contest with prizes and bragging rights. There will also be trick or treating.

In conjunction, at 377 Books at Frames Etc. will be hosting a Halloween Book festival called Books, Boos and Bites also from 6-10 p.m. in downtown Stephenville.

There will be Seasoned and Blessed Food Truck, Beautiful Chaos Kitchen, Halloween reads including extra horror stock and speciality blind date books, doorprizes and give-a-ways. Frames Etc. is located at 221 N. Belknap St.

Circus set Wednesday evening, Oct. 7

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus will be at the Dublin City Park at 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Tickets at the box office will be $17 for adults and $10 for children (ages 2-12_, and seniors 65+. A portion of all ticket sales go to benefit the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Erath County EMS, Sville Fire partner with Red Cross for blood drive Erath County EMS and the Stephenville Fire Department are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive.

The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the new Erath County Annex, located at 222 E. College Street in Stephenville.

Harris Pumpkin Patch, Haunted House open this weekend

The Harris Old West Pumpkin Patch in Dublin will be open at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 and Sunday, Oct. 11. Admission is $10, with children 5 and under free.

There will be all sizes of pumpkins for purchase, hayrides, lemonade and concession stand, woodfired pizza, pumpkin treats and all kinds of goodies, photo ops and live music.

A haunted house will be operating at the pumpkin patch as a fundraiser for the nonprofit, Revitalize Dublin beginning Friday, Oct. 10.Admission is $15, and separate from the pumpkin patch admission. The attraction will operate from 8 – 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, Oct. 17, Oct. 24 and Oct. 30-31. TSU student night is Oct. 17, with TSU student admission half-price.

The patch is located at 1029 CR 304 in Dublin.

Dublin ISD announces Barn Raising Bash

Dublin ISD invites the entire community to the Barn Raising Bash at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at the Dublin Secondary Campus.

This special community event will bring Dublin together in support of the vision for a new agriculture facility and barn for our students. The evening will feature a delicious meal, live music, live and silent auctions, tours of the district’s current agriculture facilities, and plenty of great fellowship.

Agriculture education has a proud tradition in Dublin ISD, and this event is about investing in its future—creating opportunities for generations of Dublin students to learn, lead, and grow.

Bygone Days on the Bosque set Oct. 10

Bygone Days on the Bosque will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Stephenville Historical House Museum. There will be cooking demos, a quilt show, crafts for all ages, blacksmithing, a western shoot out and more! The event is free, but donations are accepted.

Stephenville Historical House Museum is located at 525 E. Washington St.

De Leon Community Garage Sale, Fall market set Saturday, Oct. 10 There will be a fall festival and community garage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 in De Leon.

There will be a garage sale, vendors, games, food trucks and more. Garage sales will be located throughout town, and vendors will be at City Hall located at 125 S. Texas Street in De Leon.
