    The Lingleville Lady Cardinals are 12-13 for the season after split wins at home Saturday, Sept. 12.

    “We’ve been on a pretty good run recently winning 4 of our last 6,” said girls athletic director Tony Phillips.

    The home team started the day with a win against the Meridian Yellowjackets, only allowing the visitors to score 8 and 9 points in the two-set victory. Alexa Aviles was top server, bringing in 17 points while Denise Toledo had 24 digs, Nevaeh Jacinto had 12 kills and Brynlee James had 5 blocks.

    The Lingleville ladies scored 22 and 20 in their two sets against Knox City. Jazmin Martinez added 19 points as the top server while Toledo had 13 digs and Sophie Hudson had 6 kills.
