From Staff Reports
The following first responder calls were made Aug. 31 through Sept. 8.
Local first responders handled 118 calls during this time and PD completed 65 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Aug. 31
Dublin PD assisted EMS with a man stuck in a chair.
Investigation into human trafficking from a tip.
Follow up investigation after an FBI tip.
A reporting person asked for PD advice when customer was refusing to pay a balance due.
A burglary alarm activated in the 100 block of South Patrick.
A person requested further information after a welfare check.
Sept. 1
A caller stated their cat got out of their house the previous night, they could not find the cat and the cat was allegedly located in a live trap with no food or water next door on Mesquite/North Park Street. Requested PD assistance to know their options.
A reporting person in the 100 block of Mesquite had called in advising someone had trespassed on his property, taken a cat out of a trap he had set and wanted to file charges for trespassing. A follow up call was made wanting to file a criminal trespass on the other party.
A welfare concern was called in for a female.
An open door was located on an abandoned building on North Patrick.
Sept. 2
A fraud report was called in with an individual who purchased a trailer in Fort Worth and the title ended up being fake.
A reckless driver was reported with a White SUV on Hwy. 6. Vehicle was not located.
Sept. 3
A suspicious vehicle was reported when an 18-wheeler was just sitting at the railroad tracks on East Blackjack.
A traffic hazard was reported in the 500 block of North Grafton when an 18-wheeler was stuck in the intersection, and the driver was acting odd. Grafton and Pearl were blocked.
A person reported an individual was calling wanting money, stating they would come to her house. Person reported being scammed.
A theft with fuel drive off was reported in the 800 block of East Blackjack. Contact was made with the person and they went back to pay.
A follow up investigation occurred about a sexual assault that occurred in Dublin.
Sept. 4
A juvenile investigation occurred.
A criminal trespass occurred.
Sept. 5
A reporting party advised he was at the high school near the stadium for a peewee football event and was allegedly threatened by other parents.
A welfare concern was called in regarding children.
PD went to aid in a possible shots fired disturbance call on FM 847.
Sept. 6
A harassment call was reported.
Animals at large were reported when two goats were being baa-d and were out near the roadway on North FM 219.
Jose Velasquez Moreno was arrested for no drivers license/ICE hold.
Someone was reportedly smoking weed at a downstairs apartment in the 300 block of Highland Avenue.
Sept. 7
Three individuals were arrested on an ICE hold after a traffic stop for expired registration: Brian Cahuec, Edwin Co Tiul and Romulo Sajbaj.
A theft of a cooler was reported and the cooler was returned.
A welfare concern was called in on an ndividual.
Goats were loose in the area of 700 block of West Clinton.
A neighbor reported stalking by other neighbor.
Dublin VFD
Aug. 31 – A school bus battery caught on fire in the student parking lot. Glukes took the bus after the fire was extinguished.
Sept. 1 – Brush trucks and tankers were requested for a brush fire with structures threatened on Hwy. 220/CR 218 Sept. 2 – Dublin VFD requested United Coop on a fire call on CR 336 Sept. 6 – A burn ban violation was reported with a large fire on PR 1317.
Sept. 7 – A decompressor was on fire at a dairy on CR 340.
Sept. 7 – A grass fire occurred on CR 307.
Sept. 7 – A fire started at a pole and hit ground, spread towards two homes in the 100 block of Shannon.
Sept. 8 – A fire occurred on CR 307/CR 308 – possible rekindle from the day before.

Aug. 31 – Assisted an elderly female with leg pain Sept. 1 – A female fell and needed assistance to get up.
Sept. 3 – a 1-year-old fell and hit their head on a door frame Sept. 4 – EMS assisted with a middle aged male with kidney stones.
Sept. 5 – An elderly female was found on the ground not breathing.
Sept. 7 – a 12-year-old female was having seizures
