The following first responder calls were made Aug. 19 through Aug. 31.
Local first responders handled 199 calls during this time and PD completed 115 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Aug. 19
A person was out of town; there was a vehicle in their driveway and camera system went dark. Requested PD to check residence in the 400 block of W. Liveoak.
A towed vehicle occurred on North Davies.
A train parked in the 300 block of CR 340 behind someone’s house, and left it running with no one in it. A truck pulled up and picked up everyone about 45 minutes prior. Fort Worth Western Railroad was called, and stated the train was supposed to be there. Prior crew ran out of service time so they were getting a new crew out to run it. It was left running at that location until a new crew could get there. They stated they would call back with an ETA if they got one.
Aug. 20
Suspicious activity was presented in the 600 block of Ireland Street when someone was banging on the door and windows, shining light in them. Could have possibly been an ex.
A vehicle crash occurred on the Loop near Allsup’s.
A second unit was requested for a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Blackjack.
Michael Jeffrey was arrested after a traffic stop for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
A reporting person was at football practice and saw a man on her ring camera walking near her home. Requested a patrol.
A person’s son was helping an elderly lady and requested a welfare check on her due to age and not being able to take care of herself. Everything was OK with the lady.
A person called in regarding making sure they wouldn’t get in trouble for having to put down a 20-year-old horse on their own property.
Aug. 21
A motorist assist occurred on Hwy. 377 S. and CR 351.
An elderly female requested a call back regarding the welfare concern call previously made.
PD was out with animal control in the 600 block of Thomas who responded to a snake call.
A semitruck was in a residential neighborhood in the 500 block of North Park and had no way to get out of the neighborhood.
An individual called about a power pole near their residence in the 200 block of Hurt Street that looked like it was about to fall over.
A person was chased to their car in the 300 block of North Norton by several vicious dogs and cannot leave vehicle. There were three dogs – one brown pitbull and two skinny shepherds, one brown, one blonde. This has happened before and she requested officer assistance.
A two-vehicle wreck occurred with road blockage on Hwy. 6 and FM 219. No injuries were reported.
An animal complaint occurred in the 100 block of West Shannon Street. The reporting person took the dog to the address on the dog tag, and the person said the dog wasn’t theirs. The reporting person wanted to speak to an officer.
A civil standby occurred when a person wanted to get their dogs and leave for the night. The individual’s parents were yelling, and he was afraid the situation might escalate when he went inside. They requested an officer.
Aug. 22
A one vehicle rollover accident occurred in the 2600 block of FM 1702. Two subjects were injured.
Same pack of vicious dogs were out again in the 300 block of North Norton and chased the reporting person into her house.
Same tan dog was on the loose and reportedly running down Mesquite Street.
Several people with flashlights were reportedly behind the gate at Higginbotham’s.
A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of East Clinton. A male was leaning on her fence, asked to cut through her yard to get to woods, and was told no. Person is still on her property.
A diesel theft was reported at Gonzalez Trucking.
Aug. 23
A person reported individuals dumping animals in the county including dogs and ducks.
A white pickup was doing burnouts in the area of East Blackjack and Patrick Streets.
Brandon Richardson was arrested for terroristic threat for allegedly threatening to blow up a neighbor’s truck, along with assault on a public servant.
Aug. 24
A welfare concern was called in regarding a student.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of West Clinton when a person was digging in the trash with a grey car in the driveway.
Aug. 25
There was an agency assist in the 1200 block of East Hwy. 6.
Aug. 26
A person on North Grafton called in regarding a noise complaint about a car that comes through blaring their music so loud it woke up her kids.
A home visit was done for a welfare concern.
A neighbor’s tree fell on a powerline/fiber optic that was connected to the reporting person’s house. It was low enough someone could touch it but not arcing or sparking in the 100 block of West Mesquite.
An agency assist occurred when a gas drive off happened with the person allegedly living in Dublin.
A female in a dark van had been taking photos of a person’s house in the 100 block of South Patrick, and an officer was requested to speak with her.
A welfare concern was called in regarding a teen threatening self-harm.
A person in the 300 block of Hurt stated there was a loose dog that would not leave her and her daughter alone. Dog was not aggressive.
The person who previously called in regarding the vehicle with the loud music waking her children, now has a vehicle description and requested the area be checked for a black Mustang.
Aug. 27
A blue Chrysler was swerving all over the roadway on West Blackjack St/ W. Hwy. 6. Was headed into Dublin. Unable to be located.
An automated message on 911 stated the owner of a vehicle had been in crash on Highland Avenue. No crash located.
Aug. 28
A person in the 600 block of North Park was violating a protective order.
A welfare concern was called in for a 50-60s aged female sitting on a curb by a vehicle in the 500 block of Highland Avenue that did not look well.
An emergency alert on Life360 was activated inside the high school. Was a false alarm.
An agency assist occurred on CR 351.
A welfare concern was called in.
A disturbance was taking place by someone not taking their medication.
A 911 hangup call occurred in the 2900 block of West Hwy. 6.
A verbal disturbance occurred by two individuals in a relationship. PD was requested so female could get belongings from a vehicle. Both parties separated.
Aug. 29
A suspicious vehicle was located in the Dublin Park.
A motorist assist occurred on Hwy. 6 with a white Jeep.
A foot patrol was done in the 2200 block of E. Hwy. 6 for a building check.
An officer offered motorist assistance on Hwy. 377.
A walk through was done at the high school on a building check.
Assistance was given to EMS on a medical call of an elderly female with muscle spasms.
An agency assist was done on attempting to locate a vehicle.
A person requested a patrol of their home.
Aug. 30
An agency assist occurred on FM 219.
A white pitbull was on the loose on North Camden Street. It was unable to be located.
Dogs were locked in a nonrunning car in a white Volkswagen in the 500 block of East Blackjack.
A wallet was found and turned over to the police.
An abandoned vehicle was located at Public Works on Norton Street.
An agency assist was done to see if a possible drunk driver from Comanche County had wrecked out somewhere. The vehicle was not located.
A theft was reported from a vehicle.
Assistance was requested on a neighbor dispute.
Aug. 31
Dublin PD assisted EMS with a man stuck in a chair.

Aug. 19 – Mutual aid for a grass fire was requested by DeLeon.
Aug. 21-a vehicle was on fire on CR 292.
Aug. 23- a grass fire south of Dublin not even a mile outside of town on Hwy. 377 was reported. Small grass fire, quickly extinguished.
Aug. 25 – There was a grass fire started by welding in the 2400 block of CR 516. It was almost put out by a skid steer.
Aug. 26- Bees were attacking a subject in the 400 block of West Mesquite.
Aug. 27 – Mutual aid was requested for a wildfire in the 3300 block of CR 328.
Aug. 28 – A fith wheel was on fire in the 1600 block of Hwy. 6.
Aug. 29 – Two areas in the median in front of Glueck’s were on fire on Hwy. 377. No flames, just smoldering.
Aug. 29 – A structure was on fire on CR 258.

Aug. 19 – A middle aged female fell.
Aug. 25 – An elderly female fell and the reporting person was unable to get her into the car to take her to the doctor.
Aug. 27 – A lift assist was requested.
