Lone Star Iris Society sell set this weekend
The Lone Star Iris Society will sponsor an iris/plant sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 29 at Hico High School. Irises will be for sale until sold out at the Hico High Secondary Cafeteria, located at 901 Cedar in Hico.

Comanche County to host Quanah Parker Day
Everyone is welcome to attend Quanah Parker Day at the Comanche County Museum Saturday, Sept. 12. The guest speaker will be Tommy Patterson speaking on arrowheads from 2-4 p.m.
