Have you ever wanted to see inside the historic Dublin Train Depot and take a step back in time? Friday is your chance!
To wrap up a month-long celebration of Dublin Celebrating America 250, there will be apple pie and ice cream at the Dublin Train Depot (located next to Dublin Bottling Works) at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 31.
“All month long we’ve been celebrating America’s birthday. This Friday’s depot event turns our attention to the next 250 years – starting with the depot’s own milestone 100th birthday celebration in October 2028. We’re working to bring this historic building back to life, and we want the community’s voice in shaping what it becomes,” one of the event organizers Amy Knickerbocker said.
The free, family-friendly event is part of the month-long community celebration planned entirely by your Dublin neighbors.
This Friday also marks the last day to collect stickers for the Dublin Shopping PassCard program.
Make a purchase, collect a sticker, and you could win one of dozens of prizes! Every purchase is an entry to win. PassCards must be turned in by July 31 to any participating merchant or at Blackjack Office Center.
