Dublin FFA medals at state

Dublin FFA students took home hardware from the Texas FFA State Agriscience Fair in Fort Worth last week. Taking second place in their divisions were: Jayden Rojas & David Greene (Animal Science Division 6), Xitlali Briseno & Joanna Acevedo (Plant Systems Division 4), Paul Adams (Plant Systems Division 5) and Zoey Soria and Isabella Cervantes (Power & Structure Division 4). Keighly Lewis and Eli Moreno took third place in Food Processing Systems Division 4. Anabelle Delgado and Heidy Osornio got 4th in Animal Science Division 4. Bentley Limmer was honored as a gold rated state participant. “We are beyond proud of our students for their outstanding accomplishments and the dedication they demonstrated throughout this entire journey,” said FFA advisor Sophie Hayhurst. “Throughout this process, our students developed valuable scientific research, critical thinking, data analysis, technical writing, and public speaking skills that will benefit them well beyond high school. Representing Dublin FFA on the state stage is an incredible accomplishment, and each competitor should be proud of the impact they made.
