  • The Lucky Vaquero Chili Cook-Off was hosted by the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum Saturday, May 30 at Wright Park, drawing 10 teams vying for a cash prize and bragging rights over who could make the best pot of chili. Top three teams in order were: Wayne Hodges Trailer Sales of Weatherford (above, winning championship and showmanship), Cajun Cowboys (above, right) and Allsup’s (right).   • The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum held a Branding Iron Ceremony Sunday, May 31 in conjunction with the Lucky Vaquero Chili Cook Off. New brands added to the popular branding wall were Jane Klein family, Rushfeldt family, Grooms family, Lilly G Ranch, Timothy Holden and the popular K bar G (K-G) brand by Kingston Gunter. Another ceremony will be held later on in the future at the Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum. | submitted photo
