Dublin High School is sending three track members to Regional competition at ACU May 1 & 2 after placing high at the Area meet in Jacksboro Thursday, April 16.
Olivia Salyer placed third in the long jump with a personal best of 17’1”.
Jayden DeLeon placed third in the triple jump with 42’2”.
Alex Teten is advancing in the high jump after a fourth place finish with 6’0”.
Several other Dublin athletes narrowly missed the cut including: ■ McKayla Hernandez, 5th in the 3200 meter run with 13:40 and 8th in the 1600 meter run with 6:13.02
■ Bayli Jackson, 5th in the shot put with 33’8”
■ Travis Spharler, 5th in the pole vault with 13’0”
■ The girls varsity relay team of Natalie Tijerina, Olivia Salyer, Avery Sieperda and Kimberly Ortiz- 6th with 4:17.81
■ Jayden Balvantin, 6th in the shot put with 41’7” DeLeon also missed advancing in the 400 meter dash with a 7th place finish of 54.50
