The Dublin Lions were surprised by Clifton Friday, Nov. 1 in a 56-28 away loss but the Lions still have a shot at bi-district playoffs if they can come out on top in their final home game Friday, Nov. 8.
“We need everybody to come out and support us,” said head Dublin football coach/athletic director Greg Hardcastle. “This is a big game for us and an unknown opponent. I don’t know the last time we played Early in football. We’ve got to get in a good week of work this week.”
The game will be preceded by senior night which will honor Dublin seniors participating in football, cheer, drill team, band and cross country.
Hardcastle said Clifton surprised the Lions Friday night by exhibiting a side not seen in recent games.
“They played really well,” he said. “We battled. Our kids played hard like they have been and didn’t give up.”
