In celebration of their 124th anniversary, the Thursday Club took a field trip to Middle Trinity Groundwater offices in Stephenville. The group was treated to a wonderful program about how important our water is, taking care of this irreplaceable resource and something of how our local water systems work.

Stephanie Keith, Education & Public Relations Coordinator of MTG, presented very expert information, visual aids helping find our area and how this branch works together. She also treated the group of twelve members and one guest to a tour of the facility and the special future project in progress.

Having met to carpool at the FUMC Dublin, a bonus of more visiting time was enjoyed going to and from. The weather was simply gorgeous and perfect for this outing.

The next meeting will be on April 7 with history of the Dublin Post Office as the program. As this study cycle of programs addressing various aspects of Erath County history winds down, all members are looking forward to choosing a topic for the next two years and a new slate of officers.
