The Women Empowering Women event is quickly approaching and sponsorships and tickets are still available.
Both the Dublin Chamber and the Comanche Chamber of Commerce are joining to host Professional Business Women of Central Texas Women Empowering Women Summit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Dove Creek Ranch (5470 Co Rd 351, Dublin).
Organizers describe the event saying, “Our mission is to provide a space where women can connect, share experiences, and gain valuable insights to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals.”
Admission to the event is $20 for Chamber members ($30 for nonmembers) and includes breakfast and lunch. Free professional headshots will also be available at the event for attendees.
The event will include: Registration and welcome breakfast from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Opening keynote speaker from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Texas Midwest Community Network executive director Lori Dodd Breakout sessions from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with presentations (“Keys to being Confident in your own skin”- Sonia Bauer; “Balancing Act for Women” Francini Estes; “Family Safety in the Age of Digital Danger”- Traci Cooper Ives) From 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a networking lunch.
A Panel Discussion on Navigating Challenges and Finding Success will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Panelists include Blackjack Office Center owner Karen Wright, Esther Taylor, CEO Accel Health, Andermar Properties/Grafton Market co-owner Carmen Andersen, Dublin Chamber of Commerce Vice President Sandra Espinoza, Mary Kay Cosmetics National Sales Director Roxanne McInroe, Comanche Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Virginia Fleming.
From 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. there will be awards and scholarships presented by a representative of Gov. Greg Abbott.
Closing remarks will be offered at 3 p.m.
Sponsorships are available from $300 to $2,500.
