Mattressville of Stephenville is inviting the community to flock over to BMY this Saturday for the return of the Great Turkey Giveaway.
For four years, Mattressville has been helping feed local families for the holiday.
“We’re grateful to be in business,” said owner Brandon McDonald. “We want to give back and we want to do good for goodness’ sake.”
Mattressville is providing about 2,000 pounds of turkey this year. To get in on the giveaway, people simply need to line up in the Stephenville BMY parking lot (3020 NW Loop). The giveaway will start at 9 a.m. and will continue until they are all gone. Limit is one turkey per family.
McDonald said from experience that it takes about 15 minutes to hand out a truckload of turkeys. These aren’t the only turkeys that Mattressville is serving up as they also donate turkeys to Foster’s Home for Children.
“If a need pops up, we like to help,” said McDonald.
