The dairy show is scheduled for Jan. 12 at 8 a.m. The horse show will follow at 11 a.m. at the Lone Star Arena. At 5 p.m., the showmanship winners will be recognized alongside the presentation of other awards.
This will lead to the big event as the animals hit the floor again at 6 p.m. for the sale of the champions followed by the market and dairy auction.
Those looking to support the Dublin students involved can contribute to the Dublin junior livestock buying pool.
Every year, the county stock show offers a chance for youth to showcase all their hard work in training, feeding and grooming their livestock.
To make sure they’re properly rewarded, the buying pool ensures Dublin youth fetch a good price for their animals during the auction that follows the judging.
Anyone wishing to donate to the cause can send a donation to Dublin Buying Pool, c/o M&M Service Station, 304 E. Blackjack St., Dublin, TX 76446.
And the organizers encourage everyone to attend the sale on the last day.
