The Dublin St. Patrick’s Day celebration returns March 17-19 and with the return of the Miss Dublin pageant, a parade, costume and pet contests, an Irish stew contest, a car show, live music, vendors and more, it will have other towns green with envy.
The celebration also brings the return of the Shamrock Shuffle in which organizer Titan Fitness has reported proceeds will benefit the family of fallen Dublin volunteer firefighter and veteran Jesse Rollins.
The race will kick off the Saturday, March 18 events bright and early.
From 6-6:45 a.m. there will be a sign-up for the Shamrock Shuffle 5K, sponsored by Titan Fitness, at the Dublin Public Library.
The Shamrock Shuffle officially kicks off at 7:30 a.m.
Registration for the event is $30 for adults and $20 for those 10 and under. T-shirts were only guaranteed for those who registered before March 1.
Early packet pick-up will be 3-7 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Titan Fitness (125 S. Patrick).
Awards will be given for the top three male and female finishers in each age division. There will also be awards given to the overall male and female.
