Round-up auction Saturday

The Stephenville Cattle Company will host its annual Round-Up for Rehab auction and gun raffle on Saturday, Oct. 21 at noon.

Owners Troy and Cheryl Moore are once again hosting the sale of a wide variety of items benefiting the West Texas Rehabilitation Center. Sales will help the center provide patient services to children and adults, regardless of financial circumstances. (For more information, visit westtexasrehab.org) The Cattle Company reported that more than 60 items have been donated to the auction including paintings, a homemade quilt, a unique decorative cow skull, gift baskets/certificates and much more.

The event will follow a brisket lunch at 11 a.m. featuring brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad, cornbread and cobbler as well as a chance to meet the legendary Red Steagall.

Tickets are also being sold for a raffle featuring two shotguns: a Pointer Field Tek 12 GA Barrel Mossy Oak Bottomland or a Mossberg 500 Super Bantam 20 GA Muddy Girl. Two winners will be drawn. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10.
