It’s uncommon for a first year rodeo to offer as much as the Burnin Bull Bull Riding Show set for April 20 at H20 Arena (400 CR 499, Hico, Texas).
The BYOB event is intended to showcase all the riding talent in Stephenville, Dublin and the surrounding area and will include a chuckwagon barbecue and crawfish boil as well as a concert to follow with live music. Vendors will also be on-hand showcasing unique finds for guests.
Gates will open at 3 p.m. followed by check-in at 5 p.m. and the start of the show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 each.A raffle will also be held at the event with proceeds going to the family of fallen Dublin volunteer firefighter and veteran Jesse Rollins. Riders have the potential to get much more than bragging rights with $3,000 added to the pool, a $500 Bounty Bull and a $500 luck of the draw bull and much more. Buckles and other prizes will also be awarded to the top riders.
