The following first responder calls were made July 13-July 19. Local first responders handled 45 calls during this time frame and PD completed 7 traffic stops.

Dublin PD July 13

Suspicious activity was reported when someone kept knocking on a door in the 400 block of North Patrick, and no one was there.

Mariano Maillot was arrested on a warrant for DWI third offense or more.

Someone’s vehicle was hit in the parking lot in the 200 block of North Patrick and the other party was refusing to give insurance information.

A suicide was reported. An agency assist occurred on Park and Mesquite.

July 14

A burglary alarm was activated in the 400 block of Edward Drive.

Suspicious activity was reported when an individual who purchased a car wanted their money back. They dropped the car back off and left.

A follow up call about the broken car sale was responded to.

A noise complaint was issued in the 800 block of Sheridan Street.

A suspicious person was reported by the storage units by the PD. A male subject was there and reportedly tried to fight the reporting party. He appeared to be intoxicated on something. A probable cause search was done after she admitted to having marijuana on him.

July 15

A hazardous materials call was issued in the 600 block of Hurt Street when an individual hit a gas meter with a shovel.

A person had a question about their court paperwork.

A suspicious vehicle was reported when someone’s children were home alone and there was a silver van parked outside on College Street.

July 16

A burglary alarm was activated in the 400 block of Edwards.

A loose dog (black with whit on its chest) in the 600 block of North Post Oak had reportedly been charging at the reporting person for several weeks now.

A harassment report was made. A person was scared for their safety after being harassed by a neighbor.

July 17 An alarm was activated in the 400 block of East Blackjack.

A follow up investigation occurred.

July 18

A horse was loose on Hwy. 377 and Highland Street.

A traffic hazard was reported on Hwy. 6 just past the PD. It was a cable line and Vyve was called.

A horse was out on the east side of town, just south of the loop. The horse was secured by the owner.

A domestic disturbance took place.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of South Camden Street when cameras were beeping with individuals walking on the property. It was EMS personnel walking around.

A vehicle crash took place between Allsup’s and Prime on Loop 267.

July 19

A crash report was taken on 2195/CR 322.

An individual believes they found the person who hit their fence.

A reporting person asked for assistance with neighbor’s goats which continue to come over onto her property. She has attempted to discuss issue with neighbor with no luck.

A welfare concern occurred with living conditions on Patrick Street.

Timothy Coan was arrested on DWI 3rd or more charges.

Dublin VFD

July 13 – fire assisted EMS when a male was bleeding from his foot July 18 – Dublin VFD responded as mutual aid for a wildfire on CR 434.

July 19 – A dumpster was on fire in the 200 block of South Patrick.
