The following first responder calls were made June 1-June 8. Local first responders handled 52 calls during this time frame and PD completed 11 traffic stops.
Dublin PD June 1
A code enforcement call was completed.
A welfare concern was called in for their daughter in summer school who did not arrive home like normal. She had gotten on the wrong bus, and was picked up by her parents at the bus barn.
A high school driver hit someone’s truck at the high school.
June 2
A welfare concern was called in about a Meals on Wheels recipient who was not home, and could not be reached by family members. She was OK.
A criminal trespass was issued on Highland Avenue.
A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of North Davies when someone who was claiming to be with Oncor was requesting to look at electric bills.
An agency assist occurred when Dublin PD was helping county units in attempt to locate a suspicious truck. Truck was not located.
A reckless driver report was called in about a driver on a motorcycle following too closely on South Hwy. 377. Was pulled over by a county unit.
Dublin assisted county units on a civil standby on Private Road 1610.
June 3
A person wanted to make sure multiple addresses were on file for a criminal trespass warning for an individual stalking her.
A call about a possible Class C assault at the Dublin pool. No offense occurred and no report was taken.
June 4
An open door was found at the high school greenhouse and secured.
A citizen contact was made regarding an individual being upset someone was driving through their lot.
An animal at large was seen in the 700 block of North Grafton. Dog that was drooling.
Three large dogs chased an individual on South Elm St.
A 58-year-old female got bit by a stray cat near Granny Clark’s and was calling from the ER.
June 5
A juvenile and mother received a courtesy transport.
June 6
Someone was knocking on windows late at night in the 1000 block of North Post Oak. No one was located, patrol was added throughout the night.
A suspicious person was out walking on North Camden and Pearl. Individual was released to their spouse.
A vehicle alarm was activated at Phelps Trucking.
A gas theft was reported by a white box truck on CR 351.
A civil matter occurred in relation to a disturbance.
Suspicious activity occurred with a family member on the internet.
Puppies were out on Loop 267/Hwy. 6 and reporting person was worried they were going to get ran over.
A couple of stray dogs were reported at the park and took into custody by the city.
A welfare concern was called in for an elderly female by family members. Everything was OK.
June 7
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of East Hwy. 6.
An individual called wanting to know custody options after a parent received a DWI with child.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of West O’Neil after a back storm door was swinging in the wind. The door was found to be secure.
Terroristic threat was called in regarding juveniles. No report was made.
Erath County EMS – Dublin division June 3- An elderly female was found not breathing in her home.
