April 1

There was a report of someone at a warehouse building in the 200 block of Elm Street taking stuff out of it. Officer spoke with the owner and she has someone mowing, but should not be taking anything. Owner lives in Ft. Worth, will drive down and inspect the property, will contact PD when she is here to meet.

A reporting person advised they had a message on her Ring camera from an officer about a theft that occurred. She said she would look at footage and let them know if she sees anything.

April 3

A reporting person came to the station to report they are getting random packages sent to their address but aren’t ordering anything. They did check bank and credit cards with nothing being hacked. Due to no criminal offense, officers advised them to contact the carrier and watch his bank for fraudulent charges.

A reporting person came to station to speak with an officer about some things happening at school. Officer contacted SROs that were at school to contact admin to give her an update on the situation.

An officer was out with a vehicle in the 200 block of Highland that was reported as suspicious. Vehicle had a tire being replaced.

April 4

A reporting person requested a criminal trespass on their workplace and residence.

A reporting person requested an officer to a residence for a puppy that was being left outside with no food, water or shelter. A caller tried to contact Animal Control but there was no answer. Officer made scene with animal control.

A reporting person stated they were in the backyard in the 100 block of East Harris and within the last hour someone came inside the house and stole an Xbox.

A domestic disturbance occurred with no injuries.

Parties were separated for the night.

April 5

There was a report of a wrong way driver in the southbound lane at the end of the 377 Loop. Officers attempted to locate vehicle and did not locate a wrong way driver.

A call from AAA requested a welfare check on a driver that was broke down, tried to make contact with the driver, but they couldn’t. Officer was out with the driver at the PD advised he was diabetic and needed help opening a coke bottle. He was waiting on a tow truck. That same citizen later flagged down PD and EMS arrived on scene due to subject having issues with his diabetes.

April 6

An officer was out at the park with two individuals for disorderly conduct.

An officer responded to a civil standby for a couple to give back their keys to each other.

A reporting person stated that he bought a dog from someone and they had not received the dog. An officer tried to make contact with the subject by phone and at the address, no answer.

April 7

A reporting person needs to speak to an officer about a vehicle that was left in the 800 block of Courtney and they will pick it up the next day.

A called advised there was a red van parked outside of their house for a few hours in the 600 block of Henry. An officer made the scene, upon arrival the owner pulled up with another vehicle and advised the officer they ran out of gas, and went to get some more.

There was a report of a white ford SUV that had been driving around the residence really slow and playing loud music in the 200 block of East Dobkins. An officer did not see the vehicle but will keep a close patrol on the area.
