A reporting person from a clinic in Brownwood requested a welfare check on a patient that has not been in for dialysis. Officer spoke with someone at the residence and was advised he was in the hospital.

There was a report of a dog in the 1000 block of West Elm that was running around trying to fight with other dogs.

A caller on O’Brien and Hurt advised they have dogs around them that continuously bark. They want to discuss the city ordinance for noise. They were referred to city hall to speak with code/animal control.

There was a follow up investigation on a CPS call.

A reporting person in the 500 block of West Liveoak reported an unknown puppy in her yard. An officer arrived and the neighbor’s took their puppy back across the street.

A reporting person stated a female was walking by her house several times a day, has had issues with her in the past yelling profanities at her. Officers went to speak with the caller and the female was no longer in the area.

Feb. 14

A reporting person came to the station to talk with an officer about a situation with one of the neighbors.

Feb. 15

Officer gave a resident information on how to get the eviction process started.

A reporting person had questions about child custody. Officer advised them to speak with their attorney about the situation and that it would be a civil issue.

Feb. 16

There was a report on Park Street of a White SUV almost running the caller off the road and not stopping at any stop signs. Driver was following the car. Officer made contact with both drivers and the other car was scared that they were following him, so that’s why the stop signs were ran.

A reporting person was in the station to report a fraud/scam.

An agency assist was requested by Erath County when they received a call for a child locked inside of a car at the Chicken House Flea Market. An officer made the scene and used a lock out kit to get the car unlocked. Child was OK.

A reporting person in the 500 block of Liberty stated that a male has pitched a tent on the back side of the church and was urinating on the side of the carport on her property with small children in the home. Officers spoke with the person who had allowed him to stay there and they advised they would speak to the man.

A reporting person requested a call back on a civil matter.

There was a report of a disturbance where a young child called 911 because of a family dispute. The family member left before officers could arrive.

Feb. 17

A reporting person needed help locating her cat that ran out the back door. The neighbors assisted in getting the cat back into the house.

Feb. 18

A person in the 700 block of West Blackjack advised there were some people fighting outside of his house, a male and a female. Officers arrived on scene and determined it to be a verbal family argument.
