A reporting person stated there was a driver leaning over hitting the passenger in a white truck coming into Dublin on West Highway 6. An officer made contact with the vehicle and there was no hitting. All passengers advised everything was good.
An officer made contact with a subject needing assistance and tried to get him a ride to Deleon.
Nov. 21
There was a follow up at Big’s for a fuel theft.
A possible drunk driver was headed West on Highway 6. Officer went to the area and did not locate the vehicle description.
There was a report of a suspicious person walking down the road in the 100 block of North Norton. Officer made contact with a subject and he advised he was walking to the store to get cigarettes.
A reporting person in the 700 block of North Grafton reported a possible suspicious subject after dogs were barking. Officers went to the resident to look around and no suspicious person was located.
Nov. 22
A reporting person advised she paid someone to make repairs on her vehicle and they are refusing to give the vehicle back. Officer met with the mechanic who had the vehicle and he advised he had not been paid in full so he did put a lien on the car. Officer advised both parties that this would be a civil matter.
Nov. 23
A reporting person advised her boyfriend shoved her. Officers arrived on scene and the parties were already separated, no charges were filed.
Nov. 24
A child abuse investigation occurred.
A reporting person advised that she has not gotten her jeep back yet from the mechanic. An officer spoke with the caller and advised her again that this was a civil matter.
Nov. 25
There was a possible disturbance between two males on FM 219. Dublin PD assisted until a deputy from ECSO could make the scene.
A cow with blue ear tags was out on South Norton and South Liberty.
Nov. 26
An 18 wheeler broke down in the roadway on South Liberty and East Blackjack. An officer arrived for traffic control and waited for Gluecks Towing to make scene.
There was a report of kids playing loud music at the park.
