There was a report of a large dog with a chain still attached running around in yards trying to fight other dogs on West Liveoak. The call was referred to Animal Control.

A caller stated that someone is dumping items in the Dublin Housing Authority dumpster in the 200 block of East May. They do not reside in the complex. An officer made contact with the manager and the subject came and got everything out.

A man was walking around banging on doors. Officers made scene, could not locate the individual or with the homeowner.

Sept. 12

Civil process papers were to be served.

A reporting person advised there was a dark grey vehicle at the end of the street near the church going in circles around the block. Officer made the scene and was unable to locate the vehicle. A close patrol was conducted.

Sept. 13

A caller stated she could hear a child screaming, “Help, I’m stuck.” Officer searched the area and realized the elementary school was directly across the field. Officer called an SRO and there was a child that got hurt on the playground around that time.

A reporting person advised there was a house across the street and a woman and man were trying to get into the window. Officers made scene and they advised they were living there trying to get their stuff out. Civil issue between parties.

There were goats out by the high school. The goats were secured and the owner was contacted by telephone and given a verbal warning for animal at large.

Sept. 14

A reporting person came in the station to report credit card fraud.

A civil custody issue was addressed.

Sept. 15

There was a report of a semi with a load of hay on 377 South/County Line. Caller stated it was their hay and not the driver’s. Deputy located them near CR 250.

Sept. 16

There was a report of loud music coming from a car in the 400 block of West O’Neil. An officer located a car with two occupants and no loud music was observed.

An officer checked on a vehicle at a gas pump that had been there for a long time. Everything was OK.

There was a report of loud music in the 300 block of East Harris. Officer made contact with individuals to turn the music down.

Sept. 17

Dublin PD assisted the country with a large party out in La Sambra.

There was a vehicle taken from the driveway in the 400 block of Edwards Drive. Officer was advised a tow truck had taken vehicle.

A reporting person came by the station to speak with an officer about how to go about getting a restraining order.
