There was a report of three people in the dumpsters getting stuff out by the apartments on Mesquite/Park Street. An officer made scene, spoke with individuals and they work for a construction company throwing stuff away.

There was a report of loud music on Grafton

Street.

An alarm was reported going off at One Stop.

Aug. 2

A search warrant was executed on a house on Austin Street. A follow up was done on the search warrant and Julian Morris was arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.

There was a report of three males fighting outside of a residence in the 300 block of West O’Neil. The subjects left the scene before the officers arrived, possibly headed toward La Sambra.

Aug. 3

A reporting person on Briarwood Street advised the neighbor’s dog was at her house and she was unable to leave her residence.

There was a report of a large turtle in a yard in the 400 block of West Sheridan. The caller’s dogs were barking and she was afraid the neighbors would complain. The officer relocated the turtle.

Aug. 4

A reporting person came in the station to speak with an officer to get property back.

Aug. 6

A patrolling officer located puppies in the middle of the intersection of Hurt/Valley. The owner was found and advised to keep the puppies up. The call was referred to animal control.

A reporting person stated that someone took out the corner of her fence and hit three vehicles in the parking lot at Central Inn. Dairy Queen cameras caught some of the footage.

Officers did a civil standby in order for a person to retrieve their belongings.
