A person in the 200 block of Johnson Street stated he had a generator stolen and knew who took it.
There was a report of a male outside Big’s Store asking for money and drinking a beer. An officer made the scene but the subject had already left.
July 12
A civil standby was requested in the 300 block of West Blackjack in order to get personal items from a home.
A reporting person in the 300 block of North Grafton advised a dog was in a cage on a back porch in the sun with no shade or water. An officer responded and the owner took him to the dog who was not kenneled, had shade, water and food.
Dublin officers investigated a report of child abuse.
July 14
A reporting person in the 300 block of North Grafton advised there was something burning in the back yard, requested someone to check on it because no one was out there with it. An officer responded, did not locate anything burning or smoke.
A caller in the 700 block East Dobkins reported he was borrowing a vehicle and the owner’s sister wanted it back.
July 15
A subject in the 1000 block of North Patrick stated that a female was following her, harassing her and she wanted a criminal trespass.
A reporting person stated a homeless man was sitting in front of Big’s. An officer located the male and was advised that if he came back loitering, and asking people for money, he would be criminally trespassed, but he was welcome to come into the store as a customer.
July 16
A reporting person advised someone broke into his truck on Trowbridge and stole some things.
