May 1

A reporting person stopped by station to speak to an officer about a civil matter.

There was a report of two dogs out running the streets with no collars. The call was referred to animal control.

A caller advised she bought storage units behind Dairy Queen and thought people are cutting the locks off the units. An officer checked and the doors seem secure.

A reporting person advised they could hear banging and dogs were barking. An officer checked the scene, walked the area and did not locate anyone or anything suspicious.

May 2

A reporting person from a bank described a money mule scam and provided the information.

There was a report of a large rattlesnake in a residence in the 400 block of South Norton. Officers were able to catch the snake and relocate it.

There was a report of a male subject walking around the school playground. Officers made contact and the subject was on a walk and on his phone.

May 3

A reporting person came into the station to speak with an officer about dropping charges.

A reporting person requested an officer call back after a domestic disturbance.

A reporting person advised a child around 1213 years old was carrying around a rifle with a scope on it towards the City Park. Officer spoke with someone who advised the kid was returning a pellet gun he borrowed from their kids.

May 4

A reporting person advised there was a vehicle parked on their property that was not theirs. Officer made contact with the owner of the vehicle who was mowing a nearby property and did not realize he parked on someone’s property. The owner moved the vehicle.

A reporting person in the 400 block of Eagle stated someone shot his windshield with a BB gun.

A reporting person in the 400 block of North Patrick advised her neighbor’s called her to tell her they are shooting in her yard. Officer made the scene and did not observe anyone with a gun or any gun shots. The officer will close patrol the area.

May 5

A caller reported there was a vehicle trying to turn around due to the train blocking the way and got stuck and is now blocking traffic. An officer went to the area and the truck was already gone.

Crescencio Dominguez was arrested for a violation of a protective order.

May 6

A reporting person stated someone was in her house last night in the 500 block of East Elm. The back door was open, a chair was knocked over but nothing was stolen or broken. A close patrol was requested.

A manager at Dollar General wants a criminal trespass on someone.

May 7

A welfare check was requested on a couple dealing with Alzheimers. Everything was OK.
