A photo featured City Hall employees, Jennufer Wuemling and Kari Drueckhammer, decorating Hico’s Historic downtown. Hico’s EDC is helping with funds for additional Christmas lights and other features and City Hall will be hosting a Christmas decorating contest.

Kayelen Helton is headed to the Women’s Rodeo World Championship with her horse, Tarzan. Helton will be competing in Team Roping and will compete with her horse, Cody, in the breakaway division. The Women’s Rodeo World Championship is at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth and Helton will compete against 24 other ropers which will be narrowed down to six to compete the following night for the prize of $60,000.

The DeLeon Lady Bearcats are the regional quarterfinal champions after defeating Colorado City in Eastland last weekend. A photo featured the volleyball team with Coach Kelsey Thompson.
