LISD serving free lunches under CEP

Body

On Monday, June 15, Lingleville ISD announced it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast for the 2026-27 school year.

Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to all Lingleville ISD enrolled students at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.

This approach aims to reduce burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides income eligibility criteria every academic year on July 1st. The socioeconomic form will be sent home after that date for completion.
