Keepin’ it Rural is this year’s theme for the Gustine Homecoming.

The weekend kicks off Thursday, May 25 with the horse parade and Jr. Rodeo. On Friday, the Golf Tournament tees off at 1 p.m. at the PAR Country Club. The BBQ cook-off begins with the Kid’s Grilled Cheese judging at 8 p.m.

Homecoming festivities begin at the Pavilion on Saturday with Live Entertainment starting at 9 a.m. Organizers invite everyone to come early and enjoy a breakfast burrito at the Concession Stand provided by the Energy VFD!

The event has a lot of fun awaiting kids including train rides, bounce house, a petting zoo, and a Wild Mustang presentation!

Guests looking for some competitions can sign up for Larry Don’s 7 and 7K run, the 42 Tournament or the Washer and Cornhole Tournament. If you need to cool off, visit the Art, Photo and Quilt show.

Don’t miss the famous pie, cake, candy and other sweets auction at noon with brisket auction following.

Homecoming Supper will be served from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Community Center catered by Littlejohn’s BBQ and desserts provided by Sister 2 Sister). The parade will be at 5 p.m. followed by the rodeo at 7 p.m.
