Here’s the scoop: the annual Great American Ice Cream Social will take place Thursday, July 16 in downtown Stephenville.
The festivities will be held by the Stephenville Downtown Merchants from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 16. Ice cream lovers are invited to explore downtown Stephenville as they sample ice cream and vote for their favorites, look at vintage cars, listen to music and participate in drawings.
Pre-sale tickets are $8 each, or $6 for purchasing four or more. Tickets can be purchased via venmo at @kaylee-pemberton-1 or @julie-lowrance. On-site tickets can be purchased at Frames Etc. and Blue-Eyed Buffalo.
Other activities will include lemonade sold by Girl Scouts and Dirty Soda by Pour Man’s Tap. Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council will be offering a free ice cream themed craft, and vintage cars will be available through Coffee and Cars. Live music with street musician Ceburn Sutton will be performed. For those interested in more than just ice cream, dinner options will be provided with an SHS Band fundraiser at Frames etc. featuring nachos and hot dog sales benefitting Meals on Wheels.
Erath County Humane Society will also be on site with a chance to pet their pups or support their cause by purchasing their merchandise. Ice Cream stops include Blue-Eyed Buffalo, Frames Etc., Hearsay, Cowboy Way Travel & Gaze Gallery, King Coffee, Turquoise & Co., Hometown Sports Collective, All Dolled Up Salon and Texas Bank.
