Fly-in returns to airport

A crowd of avid aviation enthusiasts joined at the Dublin Municipal Airport 9f0 on Saturday for the annual lightsport fly-in. Spectators and pilots were able to talk about the hobby as they enjoyed coffee and donuts in the morning and Swigs BBQ in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the lot was filled with light (1,320 pounds or less) and ultralight (254 pounds or less) aircraft. Saturday also saw the landing of several gyrocopters and guests were able to try their hands at virtual flight with the simulation setup (below, left) found inside the airport office.
