First Responders were sent to a rural portion of north Erath County Monday, May 1 for what appears to be a farming accident.
The incident occurred at the property of 3555 CR 132 in north Rural Erath County.
The victim, identified as 77-year-old James Lee Medders of Erath County, was injured in a farming tractor accident on the property.
Medders was transported to a hospital in Fort Worth for further treatment.
The Erath County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident but does not believe any criminal activity is involved.
