Farm Show/Tractor Pull this weekend

Want to check out the latest and greatest farm equipment and see some incredible tractor pulling action?

The first annual Lone Star Equipment Show and Tractor Pull are set for the DeLeon Community Park on April 16 and April 17.

With new residents coming from all different places, the Equipment show is the best place for people to meet vendors and show off new equipment.

The Equipment Show is on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and free to the public.

Local vendors for this event include Clark Tractor, Bayer Motor Company, Hendershot Equipment, Mixer Center, Tractor Center, APM, Ridge Tex Realty, US Sand and Gravel, and Stephenville Truck and Trailer. Other vendors include Bobcat, Landmark Equipment, Livingston Machinery and Farmers Edge.

The event will also feature raffles for a Traeger Grill and a Blackstone Grill. Raffle tickets will be $20 for the Traeger and $10 for the Blackstone.

The tractor pull starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 16 and Saturday at 1 p.m.

The event is officially licensed by the Texas Truck and Tractor Pulling Association and is drawing in fierce competition including locals like Pete Riola and Dustin Riola (The Bone Collector), Paul Tyus and Lindsay Tyus (Hammertime, Sledgehammer and Mischief Maker), Jason Glueck (Brutus) and Herman Glueck (Popeye).

Admission to the Tractor Pull is 10 per person with kids age 5 and under are free.

Pit Passes are available for $30 and all admission is per day.
