Grant applications will highlight the monthly meeting of the Dublin Economic Development Corp. at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the EDC office.
C o m m e r c i a l improvement grant requests are from Robert Blair for restoration on the Sheehan Building next door to Dublin City Hall and from Teresa Marquez for the Market Latino which has added a dining room.
An event marketing grant has been requested by Eddy Weiss, the Life in the Arena Foundation, for a special month-long exhibit during Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibit is in cooperation with the Texas Historical Commission and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
The board will also accept the resignation of Dr. Joe Cannon, who has moved to Weatherford, and the appointment of Lanora Davidson to that position. Mrs. Davidson has been serving in that seat as interim director for several months.
The board will also enter an executive session to discuss personnel matters.
