Those who receive grants from the Dublin Economic Development Corporation will now have a shiny, new shamrock sign to display at their home or business.
The EDC unanimously approved the signs at its Tuesday, May 30 meeting. Members Jeff Weaver, Sarah McCann and Sammy Moore were absent from the meeting.
Grant recipients will get to display a metal sign in the shape of a shamrock saying work is being done courtesy of grants from the EDC. Signs are being made at Cre8 Signs in Stephenville.
Following a presentation by Caroline and Kimberly Pino of EZER, the board unanimously approved redesigning the EDC website and creating a new Facebook page for the EDC.
The EDC is also working on grants in a workshop on Tuesday, June 6.
City of Dublin and the EDC are continuing work on engineering for the sidewalks on Blackjack Street in front of the shops including Blackjack’s coffee shop.
