Those who want to vote early in the upcoming school board elections can do so starting Monday, April 24.
The only race for those in Dublin for the May 6 local elections is to select two candidates for school board out of the three running for the seats: incumbents Bill Rodriguez and Blanca Martineau and challenger Ryan Mitchell.
City council elections were canceled due to only the incumbents filing for the races.
There are some changes in voting locations for the May 6 races.
Early voting and election day voting will not take place at the Stephenville Courthouse due to construction for an upcoming TV series filming.
Graham Street Church of Christ Family Center, at 375 N. Graham Street, has become the main early voting location.
County Clerk Gwinda Jones’ office will be temporarily moved to the County Courthouse Annex April 27-May 5 due to the filming.
Early voting will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27 and Monday, May 1Tuesday, May 2.
Extended hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28.
Those wanting to vote in Dublin can do so at the Patrick Street Church of Christ, located at 630 N. Patrick Street. This location will have the same dates and times as the main early voting location.
On Election Day, Saturday, May 6, voters can cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Patrick Street Church of Christ, the Graham Street Church of Christ Family Center, Texas Bank and the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center.
