Eddy Weiss, of the Frontline Heroes Museum in Dublin, was guest speaker for the Southwest Oklahoma Crime Stoppers breakfast in Lawton, Okla. recently.

Weiss, whose topic was Blue Lights Matter, discussed accident reconstruction and the use of UAV lights in forensic investigations. He dealt specifically with capturing photographic evidence for use in courtrooms and the use of alternative light sources in infectious disease prevention and control.

His audience was police chiefs from two dozen agencies in Southwest Oklahoma.

Weiss’s company, EG Weiss and Associates, is a member of the Texas Division of the International Association for Identification. He is a consultant for several agencies representing law enforcement and frequent guest speaker to first responder audiences.

The Dublin museum has exhibits which focus on forensics and pay tribute to emergency responders.

Weiss was invited to Oklahoma as a result of contacts made during the recent Ben Hogan Museum golf tournament activities during which the two museums shared an exhibit comparing, from a medical perspective, the car accidents suffered by famed golfers Ben Hogan and Tiger Woods. That exhibit remains open to the public in the Frontline Heroes Museum, Blackjack at Grafton St.
