The Dublin Garden Club held its regular monthly meeting, May 13, in the home of Janice Reeder.
The club was able to provide three $500 scholarships, made possible by its fund raising efforts and generous donations.
The three recipients are Hayden Milburn, Emma Mitchell, and Olivia Salyer.
They joined us for a get acquainted time and refreshments. All are very deserving, organizers said. Afterward, they had a business meeting and elected officers for the coming club year. Then they had our annual plant exchange to close out this club year activities.
The club dismissed for the summer, and they will have their next meeting the second Wednesday in September.
We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer, garden club members said.
