Dublin Auto Repair, located at 950 North Patrick, was officially welcomed to the community Saturday, April 13 with a grand opening and ribbon cutting.

The business is owned by Bosco and Kayla Garrett and currently has three additional employees. Kayla works as a math intervention specialist for Stephenville ISD.

Bosco is a person many may recognize since he attended school here and has family and friends in Dublin.

“Everyone has been super nice and welcoming,” Kayla said. “We’ve been welcomed with open arms and we have been exceptionally busy, which is great!”

Bosco has been a mechanic his entire life, with the last six years working at his shop in Comanche. When the location was bought out by a bank for the property to build a new branch, the Garretts knew they had to find somewhere else to call home for his business.

Looking in a variety of locations, they found the shop in Dublin in what they call “the perfect fit,” relocating along with two of their employees.

“We are very happy to be a part of this community,” Kayla said.

Opening in February, Dublin Auto Repair got down to business and started repairs on automobiles for the people of Dublin and the surrounding area.

Embracing their motto of “Your one stop shop for all your automotive repairs and accessories,” Dublin Auto Repair can tackle a wide variety of issues – anywhere from motors to brakes.

The auto repair shop can work on old vehicles and new vehicles alike, and has the ability to perform a diagnostic scan to see what may be wrong with a vehicle.

Dublin Auto Repair has six lifts inside the business and can also do heating and air conditioning work. They also have a certified diesel mechanic on board.

They will also be doing intoxilock in the future.

The business is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We have a really good team,” Kayla said.

For anyone trying to reach the business, they can call 254-445-0175 or can just stop by.
